I had the model before this one and had nothing but trouble, it finally broke down completely after 8 years. this new one is smaller inside and the shelves are cheaply made, no rollers, they slide on plastic. the ice maker seems to be the best thing about it, but it is so large it takes up much of the usable space inside. never would have bought another Maytag anything, but had to match other appliances. also the warranty people at Maytag are quite rude and seem to take great joy in telling you "no way will we stand behind our product" so here I am again, good luck to me. also I must say the Best Buy people are very good and much better to work with than either Home Depot or Lowes.
