“Maytag says yes, a control board for this washer priced $600 is in fact $300-400. Am I missing something? With labor wouldn't that make that repair cost $400-500, almost as much as the new washer. Can the rest of the washer at $100-200 be any good?”

My motherboard went out at 6 months. It was $85 for the service call & $310 to replace the motherboard. Don't buy this junk!
