I too have heartburn over this new unit. Our old one lasted decades. I wear t-shirts most of the time and my wife never had to iron them, just shake out and fold. Now everything comes out badly wrinkled. I will move to 'cold' water and manual deep fill settings and hope for the best. I am going to reduce the dryer setting as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our best guess is that this machine’s spin cycle is more aggressive than our thirty year old Maytag machine. We also, saw more wrinkles but found that shaking out the clothes before drying reduced the wrinkles.

If permanent press fabrics are rinsed in warm water, the spin portion of the cycle applies pressure to the warm fabrics and causes wrinkling. If the same permanent press fabrics are rinsed in cold water, an element of the heat/pressure combination is removed and wrinkling is diminished. Remove the clothing from the dryer as soon as possible to stop wrinkles from setting in. Fabrics made from natural fibers such as cotton or linen have a greater tendency to wrinkle during normal wear and laundering, and ironing is usually needed for these fabrics. Use a Permanent Press cycle, especially if washing in hot water as Permanent Press cycles are designed to minimize wrinkles.
