“Will the lid on this washer open after it "clicks"? In other words, can I add a dropped sock during the wash cycle?”

• To open the lid after it clicks and the indicator light for "locked" turns on, you press the pause button. After a moment, there will be another click and the indicator light for "locked" will turn off. You can then safely open the door and throw something else in. When you close the lid again, press and hold the pause button to relock the lid and continue the wash cycle.

• You have to press "PAUSE" first, so lid will unlock, put "the sock" and press "START" again (START/PAUSE - same button)
