“My dark clothes sometimes have white spots after the wash. Almost like powder residue but I never use powder. Anyone else?”

I just purchased my Maytag washer too and have noticed the same with a few of my color clothing's. Is this a common defect? Need to know since mine is totally new.

I have the same problem...I do not know why, but I do. The machine also makes lots of noise ...hard to get used to. Better then the front loader I had tho.
