“Just got my machine yesterday and today clothes got stuck under the agitator, how can I get it out? Will this happen often?”

• I also need an answer to this question. I currently have something stuck under the agitator. It's the sleeve of a very thin windbreaker. I assume that my only option is to remove the agitator but I don't see any answer from some that has had to do that

• I have had this happen often especially with my sheets. I still have not found a way to prevent it from happening again. This washer has destroyed 3 sheet sets so far by getting caught in the agitator.

• See if it is a loose string, that started to wind up around it and unwind the opposite way. Try using delicate cycle on items that may have straps or strings that could find its way under the agitator.
