• shlay17 model MVWB865GW is an HE washer and has 3 different cycles than the other model. It has a Color cycle, a drain and spin, and a rapid wash. Model MVWB835DW has a deep water wash and soak option that the other washer does not have. We hope this helps!

• It does move the cloths from the bottom to the top while it is washing. You also use less water.

• It is HE. I purchased both and returned the other model. This one, with the agitator, gets my laundry cleaner. This model has a deep fill option, other doesn't. The other model has a soak cycle. This one doesn't.
