QuestionSpecifically, does any Maytag models have child locks that keep the door from being opened while the washer is in use? Ie. our current outdated and defunct Samsung washer that when you push "start" you hear a click and you can no longer lift the door.

- Answer Yes. This washer senses the load then locks for the entire cycle. If opened during sensing (even if immediately closing the lid again) the control panel flashes until the start button is pushed again.

QuestionWhen using hot water wash should the control panel get condensation on it?

- Answer Mine does not get condensation on the control panel. So I would say, no. Depending on how hot the water is, I guess it could be possible. It hasn't happened with mine though. It sounds like your lid might have a gap somewhere along the back (maybe there's a gasket back there), allowing steam to be released onto your control panel.

QuestionWhat exactly does deep fil mean?

- Answer The manual says deep fill cycle fills it half full of water. Normally the water level is below the top of the clothes. Apparently, there is no way to get this washer to fill more than half full of water.

QuestionDoes this model come with the drain hose? This model indicates in the specifications that the drain hose is not included. I know the fill hoses have to be purchased.

QuestionI have a problem with the agitator on the delicate cycle. It agitates as much as it does on the normal cycle. I really can't wash anything delicate in the washer. Is there a way to adjust this? Anyone else have this problem or is it just my washer?
