• I have had no issue washing my king comforter with space left over.

• Yes. Last night I washed a Queen quilt, chenille throw, and two king top sheets all together. I have also washed a king comforter in mine but would not recommend washing down/feathers.

• No it can’t. The washer gets off balance and it’s sopping wet. You must take everything out of the washer to reset. When you but the wash back in, it senses and again gives you the error message I’ve tried adding other items to help balance. No luck. Also, if you want to open it for any reason, it must empty water completely. I detest this machine! I deliberately bought this large capacity washer so I could stop 40 years of going to a laundry mat. Now I get to go with a ridiculously heavy wet wash.
