QuestionI BOUGHT THIS DRYER MARCH 2020, HAVEN'T HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH IT WHATSOEVER UNTIL THIS WEEK AND IT WILL NOT COME ON. WHEN I OPEN THE DOOR THE LIGHT COMES ON BUT WILL NOT START. I REGISTERED THIS DRYER.

- Answer Yes, the top surface is flat and roomy (if you're referring the the top surface below the controls). A laundry basket fits on it.

QuestionI don't understand the Sensor Dry cycle. I put a load of towels in, set the cycle knob to Energy Prefered, temperature to High and hit start. I let it run for 90 minutes. The knob never moved. The towels were burning hot. Isn't it suppose to shut off?

- Answer Halby- This model does have a sensor dry cycle. As well as the timed cycles. Is that what you are inquiring about?

- Answer Yes! The details of how to do it came in a separate booklet called "Dryer Installation", I believe. (I suggest rolling up a bath towel to lay on the floor in front of the dryer and anything else where the tiny screws might jump off and roll under the dryer or anything else!)

- Answer Yes, but it was well worth it for me. You could call Salvation Army or a similar organization ir you want to donate your old appliances, but the old stuff needs to be out of the way before the new stuff is delivered.
