I have the same dryer, works great, i do usually have to open the dryer and reconfigure the comforter as it really spins it and the middle doesnt dry but it takes no longer than 1.25-1.5 hr for a king comforter. Must be an issue with your machine.

I haven't had this problem. You should check with a repair person. Also I don't overload.
