• Yes you should. Your older vent is probably full of lint. Mine was. A fire hazard waiting to happen.

• A vent no, but a the attachment from dryer to the vent - I would highly recommend it.

• If you want it installed then yes and a power cord. If you are installing it then it is up to you. I would see how the old one looks, if there is a lot of lint I would ,for the small cost, replace it, better than a lint fire.

• yoj, we recommend changing the dryer venting if you are hanging the dryer,
