Yes it has a timed cycle, but keep in mind that 20 minutes are the cool down cycle, so if you wanted 30 minutes on high, you would have to set to 50 minutes and then go turn it off yourself. Hope that helps. I can't tell you temperature range as I don't have a thermometer to throw in there and let roll around in the drum. It has 4 settings though, high, medium, low and air fluff.
