• Do I have to use microsoft to download this? The last I used but buy it had to go through microsoft and they put my pictures n the cloud before I could disable them.

• The 1 year subscription starst as soon as you purchase the subscription..This is also true for the Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription.

• Subscription date starts the date of download, and you will be notified a week prior to expiration of the renewal. I didn't subscribe to Microsoft 365. I purchased permanent for 1-computer.
