You will receive an order confirmation email first and then a couple of hours later, you will receive the email with the code. Take the code to https://www.mcafee.com/activate to redeem it and begin the installation. You will be asked to set up an account with McAfee, which is required but only needs your email address. You will also be asked if you want to sign up for auto-renewal, but this step is optional and can be skipped if you choose without interrupting the installation. Click on the X in the upper right corner to skip.
