We have a Sony and it allows 2 pair of headphones and the tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it does allow both the earbuds and speakers without issue, but you have to be aware that there is a slight delay in the bluetooth transmission. There are amplifier receivers that have a delay function that helps in syncing up. Great product. I have used it to send sound out to the deck to listen to games and music.

Namely, if your TV has a digital optical audio output (also known as a TOSLINK or Optical S/PDIF connection), then you will be able to use this device with Bluetooth headphones AND hear the TV's built-in speakers simultaneously, so others can still listen to the TV without headphones. If your TV does not have an optical audio output but has red/white RCA "audio out" connectors, then it may still work depending on the TV make/model, but optical is best if that's available on the back of your TV.
