• Its targeting businesses. Their budgets are different than the consumers. I do think the price is a bit high, though it's not that different from some of the very high end consumer models like a Vive Pro 2. I bought one anyway being fully aware of what I was getting.

• The "Pro" in Meta Quest Pro designates that this is a device for professionals, akin to comparing the iPad and iPad Pro models, hence the price-tag. A more consumer-friendly device, the Quest 3, should launch next year.
