Q: QuestionWhen is the demo or the actual release date? Why was I told by Best Buy representatives with customer service to drive an hour and thirty minutes to a store to purchase the glasses, only to not even be able to get them?

• A:Answer I live NC, i scheduled my appointment on Oct 20th (on Meta website for Best Buy), they had NO earlier appointment. So i just happened to go to the store on Oct 6th, they had a Meta rep and the glasses there, he did a demo with me, got sized and I ordered the glasses that day, they had no glasses in store, they are on back order (till December) but he says theyll prob come sooner then expected

Q: QuestionWill the built-in display on the Meta Glasses 2 be able to function on the left eye instead of the right? My right eye has limited vision, so I’d prefer to use my left eye.

• A:Answer The Meta Glasses Gen 2 do not have a display. If thats what you meant. The next generation of the Meta Rayban Diplays glasses is supposed to have a diplay on both lenses. Those are just rumors though.

• A:Answer You must check with your insurance provider. I did and they will cover both frame and prescription lenses. It took provider 3 days to research and confirm coverage.

• A:Answer Of course if they don’t say you should never wear these while driving aka "distracted driving" then its probably going to put them in a position of liability from anyone getting into a car accident who owns them. Just be smart and reasonable and don't do anything crazy with them while driving. I would think that using them for Navigation while driving would be reasonable.

• A:Answer In their keynote they stated that you can get -4.0 to +4.0 lenseswhen you order. I think you have to get them at time of ordering though. You probably won't be able to get them same day in store.

Q: QuestionCan I get internet by pairing with my Apple Watch instead of my iPhone?

• A:Answer No, the glasses get the data from the Meta App which is only available on mobile phone stores currently. However you can pair them with Apple Watch, but they will only work as glorified headphones. Not sure about the display side of things, but for the Oakleys and the Ray Ban Gen 1-2’s this is how it works. So most likely the same for this product as well. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWhy does it allow you to schedule a demo if no store has them for standard inventory?

• A:Answer I went in store to get them in person as i expected since you can't buy them online. They had 2 sets and it wasn't even a demo it was just putting them on and fitting the band. Then you have to order it at the store to get it shipped as they had no inventory in the store. Even the Meta staff was confused as why stores weren't having stock even though they are advertising demos. All I can say it was a very interesting product drop.
