I think the transformer does not provide a flat frequency response down to the 20-50 hz or lower range. You could try to flatten the curve with bass boost. It may be that a higher quality/price isolator would provide a flatter response on the bass end, but i haven't tested this hypothesis yet.

Depending on where the line output converter is wired in you can lose 99% of bass. Most modern cars have built-in amplifiers since you purchased this product i would almost say your vehicle is stock. Depending on bose or stock you only have a select few places you can wire it in or a different device is needed.
