I am not sure if it would work like it should or not. I don’t know what kind of vehicle you’re installing it on. As for me, mine was a 2017 Nissan Titan S Crew Cab 4x4. I think it depends on the vehicle and all the electronics. Also on my truck I lost use of the volume control on the steering wheel and selector use for the stock radio. But I was told by the tech before installation. So I just use it on the Kenwood radio I put in. I am well pleased with my radio. And I would do it all over again. Also I lost use of my phone control on my streeing wheel. But when a call come in or I want to make a call, I just touch the radio screen.
