It is possible. The main problem would be getting enough wire to route to the back of the trailer. I installed on an f250 crew cab and didn’t have much wire left to spare. You could extend the wires as long as the connections were weather proofed. Also I’m not sure if the factory radio can accept to camera inputs.

I have contacted the company that made the camera and asked about extending the wiring up to 30 feet. They stated yes it can be done. They suggested using standard 30 foot long trailer wiring kit. Cutting the camera wires before the breakout of the black and red wires at the back of the viehicle. Solder into a 4 way trailer wire connector. Mount that as weather proof as possible to the rear of your truck. This affords you a quick disconnect. Then, using the trailer wiring kit run it starting from the front of the trailer with the mating 4 way trailer connector. Route that towards the camera mounted on the back of the trailer. Solder that piece of wire you cut off the end of the camera wires before the break out to the trailer wire kit just before you get to the camera. Then all you do is plug the camera into the connector that came with the camera. You will have 4 wires when you cut it. They are all different colors before that red and black break out. Red connects to either a switched ignition power wire or the reverse light hot wire. If you want to use that camera whenever you wish you want to wire it to a switched ignition power source. The camera will always be on while your connected to it and the ignition switch I on. If you wire to the reverse power wire, the camera will only come on when you select reverse gear. The black wire goes to ground. You can ground it anywhere near the camera to bare metal. The other 2 wires are for the camera signal to your monitor. RCA jack. One thing you do not want to do. The camera side of the short lead wiring. You do not want to cut or splice that section. The wires inside are all the same color. Maddrummann
