The METRA 70-8901 adapter has one FEmale connector (fits over male end extending from car's wiring loom). The METRA 70-8901 adapter's other end is unterminated wires. These are attachable to the audio head's wires (usually emanating from the audio head's connector), using appropriate color code matching. This assumes the harness you inquire about is the same as I purchased from BestBuy; Best Buy matched this inquiry up, I did not confirm the part num is identical. The pkg I received from Best Buy stated: METRA 70-8901 on wiring adapter bag. This bag did contain some color code hints. Be careful. misconnecting wires can lead to damage. Be aware that, like many antenna-in-glass cars, my 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i wagon has an antenna amplifier. It is REQUIRED that this amplifier be energized by the audio head, in order to receive radio signals at full strength. Sometimes the audio hear connector diagram states "BLUE wire: To power antenna." This is misleading, in the case where the car has no powered device that physically raises and lowers the antenna mast. The diagram should state "BLUE wire to power antenna amplifier." using 8901 Metra wiring harness converter, in my particular instance, for JVC audio head: JVC BLUE/WHITE should be connected to the BLUE wire on Metra converter JVC BLUE/WHITE is labeled "To Power Antenna" in JVC manual, but is its role is "Antenna Booster Amp Power"
