• A:Answer Should work I have the upgraded 99 Outback. Unless you have a different manufacturer's radio. This should work with Subaru factory hardware

• A:Answer Yes, this worked perfect for my 2004 Forested. Subaru hasn't changed connectors in a very long time. You won't be able to hook up a built in sub, but that's subarus fault.
