How do I cancel the subscription for Office 365? null

Managing an account with M/S and Geek Squad is a joke. I have tried unsuccessfully to cancel my M/S 365 office package to no avail. However, Geek Squad and / or MS keep charging my credit card annually. I don't use Office any longer and do not require it on my computer! I would like to resolve this before the next annual re-up is due. I have removed the program from my computer, now I need to keep their hands off my credit cards.

Only after I put in my new credit card info to be billed does the confirmation page say: "Please note: This charge will appear on your credit card statement as "GEEKSQUAD RENEW 800-433-5778." You can cancel at anytime by calling 1-800-433-5778" So I called the Geek Squad Renew number, they asked for some confirmation info, and the subscription will run out on the expiration day (they also offered to cannel immediately and issue a refund).

The only thing Best Buy does wrong in this scenario (with auto renewal subscriptions) is not posting the information clearly on how to cancel. Most everything now can be done online. However when I came here to find support, I see you can call Geek Squad. It was a four minute phone call, and they canceled and refunded the subscription (at a prorated amount because I waited so long to actually call). Just wish I had called sooner.

I want to cancel a free 1-month subscription which becomes 99 dollars after said time

Just Don't renew your subscription. You can uninstall it and install something else but, if you purchased a year? You've bought it whether you use it or not.
