QuestionAfter the year is up, do I have to renew or will the program continue to work?

- Answer it will not work after it expires. some people try to back date your computer's date and leaving it unplugged/disconnected from internet to fool the program but program periodically checks for license validation online and will stop working if you are not connected online.

- Answer Yes, it will need to be uninstalled; however, MO2007 will be keeped in your Microsoft Office Account for future re-installation.

- Answer Depends on how you purchased it. I purchased mine at Best Buy and it had the product key code in the packaging. However there is no software it is all strictly download, which I did not like. I like to have a physical copy incase something goes wrong.

QuestionI bought 365 Personal through Best Buy. I need to upgrade to 365 Family soonest, but have 3 months left on my 365 personal subscription. If I buy 365 family, will I get some sort of discount or other compensation?

- Answer I also had to cancel the individual subscription then purchase the family plan. Apparently there is no way to switch or upgrade from single to family plans. I received a refund for the unused months of the single version, received it quickly, without a hassle and via the same method that I was paying for the annual subscription. No problems, no issues.

- Answer Yes you can store on the desktop or where ever you select on your hard drive. Of course, you have the added option of saving to the cloud. I save all of my documents on the hard drive as my personal preference. If I want to back up then I put it to the cloud.

QuestionI bought the Office 365 home for 5 macs. I still have an active (1) person user. 10 hours of trying to install on my mac I keep getting the error message that my key code is invalid. After many hours with bestbuy and microsoft there is still no solution.

- Answer I would return it back to the store you purchased it. Have them swap it out and then give you a new card that has the code. I ran into similiar and I took mine back to Best Buy as suggested by Microsoft. Best Buy refunded / swapped out for a new card for the 5 subscription. I took it home and installed and everything went fine for my Mac laptop, iPhone, and other devices.

QuestionMy son currently has a 1 year subscription to Office 365 (when I purchased his laptop last year), and it's ready for renewal. If I purchase the Office 365 (up to 5 users) will this work for his renewal and for a new laptop I am purchasing now?

- Answer Yes it will. When you son logs to MS Office / installing it on computer then he would have to use your information since it is under you. Or you would have to install it for him with the username and password that you have associated with the registration. Its pretty much do once and thats it.
