“I have an older version of Office for Home will i lose any of the older work sheets if i install Office 365?”

No not at all. Of course when you open them up to edit and use them it will save in the current version format.

I can only speak from my own experience as I am not very tech savvy. I had an older version of windows 365 on my laptop through GoDaddy. I installed this program and files opened with no problem.

It is backwards compatible and will work fine. You probably will want to remove the old version of office first because on a windows machine there may be some issues with file association. Easier to let the installation fix that rather than messing around with it later.

I can't be sure, but I'm fairly confident that new versions of office can open / read / save older formats.
