“I have a 2 year old Surface Book 2 that will not turn on. Geek Squad has been no help just saying that they can not work on Microsoft computers. So please tell me how they can "recondition" one for sale?”

Because the geek squad person may be wrong and doesn't have the information correct. In addition Microsoft techs can do things that Geek Squad can't because it is Refurbished by microsoft or a microsoft authorized service center. I don't know why Geek Squad can't work on Microsoft products because a lot of people buy Microsoft at Best Buy.
