• Its a matte black textured material similar to a pencil eraser. It is a little soft and retains its shape after pressing it. It can be scratched with your nails though. It can also be stained with pen ink so watch out. It wipes clean and I use lysol wiped without issues. Give it a try, I highly recommend it. People will be impressed by its shape. It's very comfortable. If you also use a Logitech trackball everyone will be sooooo jealous!!! ;)

• The wrist pad is a soft plastic that retains its shape. The surface is textured so your wrist does not slip.

• Not certain of the material it is made from but it is soft and very comfortable. I use my keyboard daily for hours on end and find it to be very forgiving!
