“I ordered this for my kids and when I went to download it on their laptop, it says, "Key not activated." What do I need to do to fix this so I can use what I paid for?”

This is tricky sometimes. You need to log into your Microsoft account/Microsoft Locker and register your version with the key on the package. The next few screens may say that key has already been used - and eventually it will give you a completely different key code to use. Seems odd but that is what happened to me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had this problem, too. Supposedly it was for up to 5 (or 6) devices, but when I tried to put it on a second computer, it gave me a bunch of sass. I took it in to the Geeks and they helped me out. It turns out that every installation has to use YOUR Microsoft account information. I had to get on my daughter's computer, sign in under MY Microsoft account, then it would download. Kind of irritating because now my Microsoft password is out there.
