- Answer I used it with a SurfacePro4 and it seems to work fine. It is the same OEM design and breaks the same way (twists and breaks the thin inside conductors) should have a strain relief. This is my third one, always breaks in the same place (about 1/2" from the magnetic latch). I don't think it is aftermarket, it has MicroSoft name on it, just poor design.

QuestionHow long is the cable? I doubt it is only 2 inches and so I suspect that is the box length. My previous charger was 6ft and I would like something around that length again.

- Answer Yes! It will work with any Surface starting from Pro 4, and since your have a Surface LTE, it is still considered as "The New Surface Pro", so it will work.
