This does not include a Surface Type Cover. You may have to check other online sources for the type cover. (I found originals, renewed, and 3rd-party versions for sale elsewhere.)

It has a keyboard built into it. It is a touch screen so the keyboard comes up. Once you activate your tablet. You can also buy a blue tooth keyboard on Amazon or through Best buy that magnetizes to the bottom of your surface tablet and will work just fine long as you enable Bluetooth on your surface.
