No, I wasn't too happy about the lack of google drive myself, but you can open the google drive website and do your business from there. And there's always the option of using Microsoft's cloud service "sky drive" which is included on the tablet. Also, the only way to install applications is through the Windows store, So you can't sideload Chrome onto it. There are two different layouts of internet explorer though, one in desktop and one in "metro". Internet explorer is a good browser, and it works well on the surface tablets.
