How is the sound quality? null

Loud and clear, albeit tinny. I'm pretty sure you won't hear a stereo image.

Surface Book 2 comes equipped with stereo speakers with Dolby® Audio™ Premium, Windows Sonic for headphones, and Dolby® Atmos™ for headphones compatibility.

The sound quality is really not there. It doesn’t get as loud as most laptops but I did not buy it for the sound.
