The main functionality will be the same, however all ports on the Surface Book 2 are connected to the keyboard. With the Surface Book 2, you may find yourself with less battery life than normal in tablet mode since there is a battery on both the tablet and keyboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, base functionality is the same as a Pro. The only 2 differences I can think of off the top of my head is that you don't have any ports besides a headphone jack on the tablet portion and it is obviously a bigger screen.
