All models of Surface Book and Surface Book 2 come equipped with the proper keyboard already. You might be thinking of Surface Pro, which is most commonly sold separate from the keyboard to give you color options. Check out the Surface Pro 6 here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/microsoft-surface-pro-6-12-3-touch-screen-intel-core-i5-8gb-memory-256gb-solid-state-drive-latest-model-black/6298137.p?skuId=6298137. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Surface Book line (1 and 2) comes with keyboard as it's more of a laptop than a tablet due to the GPU being inside the keyboard/base area. The Surface Pro lines are the ones that do not come with a keyboard (unless it's bundled by the seller and specified). The Surface Book line (1 and 2) only comes in grey. The Surface Pro line comes in grey and black (for the Surface Pro 6) and Surface Laptop line comes in grey, burgundy, cobalt blue and black (may be for the Surface Laptop 2 in those additional colors). So, just remember that the Surface Book is different than the Surface Pro which is different than the Surface Laptop.
