• Hi JoJo, The surface book 2 does not have a micro SD slot but a normal SDXC slot. The SDXC card does stick out when inserted. They're adapters you can buy which convert Micro SD to SDXC which are designed to fit flush with the computer.

• The Surface Book 2 comes equipped with a full-size SDXC card reader. When in use, the card will insert partially into the port, leaving some of the card still exposed outside of the device.
