For Surface Book 2, the USB-C to HDMI Adapter by Microsoft will work great. Find it at Best Buy here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/microsoft-usb-c-to-hdmi-external-video-adapter-black/6155222.p?skuId=6155222. However, we noticed this question was posted under Surface Laptop 2, which is a different machine, and does not have a USB-C port. If you have this device, and not the Surface Book 2, you will require a USB-A to HDMI adapter.
