Q: QuestionDoes this have a backlit keyboard?

• A:Answer Nope and this is the only issue i have with it. Why they wouldn't put a backlight on a 700 device when they put it on every other device in the lineup makes no sense.

Q: QuestionCan the keyboard and screen be folded together to use it like a tablet? Or alternately can the screen be removed for a tablet experience?

• A:Answer Thank you for asking. The keyboard on Surface Laptop Go may not be removed or folded back under the display. For tablet functionality, we recommend Surface Pro 7 or Surface Book 3 instead.

Q: QuestionPlease describe the RAM situation. 2 slots? Is only 1 filled with an 8GB module? Expandable to 16GB RAM (2 8s)? Thanks for any guidance - I only saw in the specifications that there was 8GB RAM installed now.

• A:Answer You can switch out of S mode easily at any time through the Microsoft Store within Windows. There is no charge for switching the mode. The switch is one-way; if you make the switch, you won't be able to go back to S mode.
