- Answer That's a misleading answer. It actually depends if the Dell in question is compatible with Windows Ink. I tested my Surface Pro 3 pen on an HP Envy x360 and a Dell Inspiron 5000 (I think) and it worked. Maybe not all the features work, but if the technology is N-trig, then it will work.

QuestionIs this pen magnetic. How is it meant to attach to the Surface Pro. I had an old pen that would fall out of the stupid little taped on Pen sleeve if I didn't carry if with the Pen Clip in the top position, I don't see a Pen clip on this one.
