Yes it does but... Let me say that I read and hear many strange and hard to understand critics to W.8; it still is the same OS of W7 with many improvements. I would love to be able to work with W8 instead od W7. Sometimes I think competitors spend a lot of money to influence the public opinion. You can choose the "touch" interface or the traditional desktop with the click of your mouse or with a touch; you can set up your PC to start with the desktop view or the touch view. The only think you may miss is the start button with the pop up list. They are taking care of this with the new release of W10 that will be free to upgrade to. There are amazing features like the "project" your screen that allows to mirror your device with any miracast enabled TV, AV Amplifier and go where Apple could go yet with Airplay. I already purchase Surface 3 that is the perfect evolution of this full PC; thinner, lighter, larger screen. This is the future.
