Dual core and quad core, the best way I can explain it is dual core is like driving on a double lane highway and the quad core is like driving on a 4 lane highway. The more lanes of traffic the more cars can pass through, well in computers the more cores (1 core means one processor), the more instructions or data can be processed at the same time which makes the computer faster so having a dual core is like having 2 Intel processors and quad core is like having 4 Intel processors, but the cores are all in one small chip instead of having 2 to 4 chips.

It offers more than 80% of the performance than its older Intel Core i3 processor (according to PCMark 8 Creative Conventional test9). We hope this was helpful to you.
