• A:Answer The RAM (memory) isn't upgradeable. It's soldered onto the board and getting into the device is such a headache. Surface devices aren't easy to take apart. The Hard Drive (SSD) is upgradable with a convenient slot that they've added in the back to access the Hard Drive. But not the RAM (memory).

• A:Answer I think it would be an excellent choice - light weight, and relatively long battery life. It can be used as a tablet or the keyboard cover supports excellent touch typing. The pen works really well and supports hand written notes and annotations. Hand written notes can be converted to text with a couple of clicks
