• This won't work with the Surface Pro 1, as they're a physically different size. It works with the 3 and newer.

• The Surface Pro Type Cover with Fingerprint ID is only compatible with Surface Pro, Surface Pro 4 and Surface Pro 3. Any older model is not compatible.
