• Yes. The files are on USB drive. As long as you edit your boot priority in bios to look at usb it should read and startup the install.

• Yes it should work no problem, all USB 3 ports are backward compatible with USB 2.

• You should have no problems. I used my copy to resurrect a laptop from the dump after installing new hdd and ram. Easy install just follow directions and let it do updates and you should be good to go.
