• There is a small card with a picture of a key on it. That has the activation key.

• Yes. There's a small card with an activation key inside the box. It also comes with a small USB to install windows with. But be warned, my USB didn't work so I had to download windows 10 from a separate flash drive. The CD key worked perfectly though.
