You should not need any upgrades to your tower to install Windows 10. I think you meet the minimum requirements pretty easily. When I looked it up your tower comes with a 1TB hard drive you only need either 2 or 4 gigs of ram for windows 10 (I think 2 is the minimum). That being said it never hurts to install an additional hard drive or get an external one for storage. The issue comes down to how much you want to spend and how comfortable you are with doing the work yourself. GEEKSQUAD can do it, but.... You are talking $120 for windows, $50-$100 for an additional hard drive if you go that route and I would imagine $100 or more for the Squad to do the work. If you do it yourself it could just be the $120 for the windows and if you want a hard drive that. The question you have to ask yourself is are you willing to spend $300 to upgrade your old computer or would it be better to just purchase a new tower and possibly upgrade to windows 10 on your own. In either case make sure you back up your files. I am in a similar situation with my dell. I chose to do the work myself and install an additional hard drive. The hard drive installation is maybe 4 screws and two cables so it is not too difficult. I have kids and we have alot of pictures so we did need the room anyway. If you are leery there are tons of videos to walk you through the process. If you have someone who is decent with computers or tools I am sure they could do it for you if you buy them lunch. It might take a while if they need to copy a decent amount of files.
