• I use an HP EliteBook with 8 Gb of RAM with an Intel I5 CPU. Check Control Panel, then System to see your amount of memory, aka RAM. If 4 Gb, I recommend upgrading to 6, or better 8, or more, Gb of RAM. If doing gaming or video editing, you should max out the memory on the machine. Looking up your laptop on an HP website will tell you the maximum amount of memory your laptop can utilize. If doing normal tasks, such as spreadsheets, documents and emails, 6-12 Gb is sufficient. Less RAM means SLOWER PERFORMANCE!!!
