“I understand that upgrading from Vista to W10- it'll save created files- but what about my installation of MS Office? I'd have to reinstall that?”

• The MS outreach team responded to my question- but I'm certain it was wrong. You can't upgrade Vista or XP to W10. It must be a "clean install" which wipes out everthing- at least installed software, but maybe it allows saving created files. If it could be an upgrade, I'd do it- otherwise, probably not. Joe

• You shouldn't have to reinstall your Office software. However, we recommend saving your files and creating back-ups of all information you want saved before you upgrade.
