• Windows 10 can be downloaded directly from the Microsoft website to a DVD, but does not include a product key. This package includes a USB drive with the Windows 10 installer and a product key. You should not need to download a DVD version if you use this USB drive.

• No. It is a thumb drive. I have ordered Windows 10 from Newegg and received a DVD. The two times I have purchased Windows 10 from Best Buy it has always came in a 3.0 thumb drive.
