“upgrade WIN 7 Home Premium to WIN 10 can this be used to only "upgrade" ? Without losing my current Apps and Files? I dont want to do a clean install and then have to reinstall every App”

Upgrading to windows 10 does not effect your apps or files. Just follow the recommended setup and you should have no problems!

There are some programs that come "embedded" in Win 7 (e.g. Freecell, Solitaire) that will be removed when Win10 upgrade is applied, but these can then be downloaded from the App Store. No "purchased programs (e.g. Microsoft Office, Quicken, etc...) should be impacted by the upgrade.
